This cozy cottage provided the perfect setting for a relaxing New Year getaway. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, making it easy to cook delicious meals. The location was ideal, with easy access to the charming town and nearby attractions. The cottage itself was spotless and exuded a comfortable and homely atmosphere.
The uncomfortable mattress on the double bed. It caused some discomfort in my shoulder and hip, but this could easily be remedied with a soft memory foam topper.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, and the shower and bathroom were great. The cottage was quiet and homely, and everything was spotless. The location was perfect for exploring Grange, Holker Hall, and the South Lakes. We would definitely recommend it.
We did find the parking space a bit challenging to maneuver in, especially with a long car, due to the low walls surrounding it. Additionally, the heating was on all the time and it was quite warm, and the radiator in the bathroom was too hot, which was a bit of a concern with our little one.

The cottage was lovely and clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and a nice pub within walking distance. The host was very thoughtful and provided essentials like washing up liquid and toilet rolls. the property had a cozy and homely feel to it.
The double bed was not suitable for taller guests, as it was not long enough. the mattress on the bed was too hard, causing discomfort and aching in the shoulders and hips.

The Old Mill in Grange-over-Sands was a fantastic value for the money. The flat was clean, modern, and had all the amenities we needed, including Wi-Fi, Netflix, and sky TV. The location was perfect for exploring and hiking in the nearby lakes, and it was within walking distance of the beautiful Holker Hall. We also enjoyed the delicious pub food in Flookburgh, just a short walk away, and the convenience of a store around the corner. The flat itself was tastefully decorated, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The friendly and helpful neighbors added to the overall positive experience. We would definitely stay here again!
The only small issue we had was with the double bed mattress, which was quite hard and caused some discomfort for my shoulder and hip. It would be great if the bed had a soft topping cover, like memory foam, to make it more comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely cottage in a great location near Grange. The cottage was exceptionally nice and had a very well-equipped kitchen. The shower and bathroom were also top-notch, with a separate toilet for added convenience. The cozy sitting area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. What stood out to me was how quiet the cottage was, providing a peaceful retreat away from the road. I also appreciated being within sight of the local pub, where I enjoyed a delicious bar meal. The cleanliness of the cottage was impeccable, making it a truly comfortable and homely place to stay. Its proximity to attractions like Holker Hall and the South Lakes made it an ideal choice for exploring the area. I can't wait to return!
One thing I found a bit challenging was maneuvering my car in the parking space provided. The confined space surrounded by low walls made it tricky, especially for longer vehicles.
